Belgravia Court

Belgravia is the most beautiful of Old Louisville's "walking courts."  Peacefully tucked away from most of the noises of the city, Victorian homes face each other across a green.  At night, gas lights provide the illumination to take one back into another time. The homes were built in the 1890s after the demolition of the Southern Exposition buildings, and the area named after some of London's most fashionable districts.

Late one day under the gas light The serenity is broken briefly every year during the St. James Court Art Show.

Belgravia crosses St. James Court on it's south end.   There is no way to see this on a drive by.  You'll have to park on St James and walk.  Entrances to the court can also be found on 4th and 6th streets near Hill.
